If there’s one thing about us, we’re suckers for a good overthinking session. We’re not exactly proud of it nor condoning it, but hey – when our minds start to wander into spirals of ‘what if’ there’s not much we can do about it. But can you blame us? Sometimes our brains get so caught up in the cycle of analyzing and questioning all the possibilities and scenarios that we slowly begin to lose our minds.
Throughout our years of ‘what if’ overthinking, we’ve picked up on a few tips and tricks to ease the process. For one – grounding yourself. Whether that’s through breath work or meditation, taking a second to yourself and the present moment is key in order to bring yourself down to earth. Another thing we find useful when conquering our obsessive thoughts is making a list. It’s easy to get overwhelmed when your entire brain is scattered with thoughts. But once you get everything out on paper – it suddenly doesn’t seem so scary anymore.
