I often wonder, “How many precious moments of my short life have I spent scrolling through my phone on the toilet? How many hours have I wasted pushing digested food and drink out of my body while watching a YouTube video?” The short answer is that it doesn’t matter how long I’ve spent on the pot. Everyone needs to go to the bathroom, and there’s no shame in taking a little break from your normal duties while you’re in there. The times in my life when I brought my laptop into the bathroom to keep working were very dark periods. I wouldn’t recommend that to anyone. 

I know that toilet talk isn’t for everyone, and that’s okay! You might think it’s gross to sh*t where you scroll, and if so, more power to you.
