One very bright and early morning, I was on a jog, when I heard a tiny meow. It was a good thing that my AirPods had fallen into the sink the day before because otherwise, I might not have heard it. I stopped for a second, and there it was again, a faint cry that tugged at my heartstrings. Following the sound, I spotted a flash of black and white fur peeking out from under a parked car. I immediately panicked when I realized it was a tiny kitten. I rushed home and grabbed a flashlight and a can of tuna, and thus my rescue mission had begun. That, dear folk, is how my cat Cinderella came to live at my house. She is now 1 year old, and quite the fierce fluffy feline.
